At the STEAM Project, we value curiosity and experimentation. We believe that resilience in the way we approach problem-solving is essential to leading and thriving in a modern world that increasingly demands scientific innovation. We build, design, code, and invent. There’s always room and opportunities to grow and develop your skills. Have a creative, bizarre, or unconventional idea? Exploring the possibilities is just the starting point. The STEAM Project is an educational organization providing STEAM-based programming for youth. Founded by three science teachers who saw a need for different ways of learning to supplement traditional schooling, The STEAM Project has been rapidly growing and expanding its reach to students across York Region. Our programs ignite the creativity in youth by providing hands-on approaches to learning and access to low to high-tech tools such as coding, robotics, electronics, 3D printing, design, and woodworking to name a few. Ultimately, our mission is to provide youth with the skills needed to thrive in a modern world. We believe that it all starts with how we think about learning and how we hire our educators and staff. Our makerspace and summer camp attracts bright and talented minds from all areas of science, technology, and design to influence the next generation of leaders and innovators.
