We, UNITE FOR PROSPERITY IN AFRICA INC, situated at, 531 Glendale Avenue, Lansing Michigan 48910 are a non-profit organization with a mission to provide children and individuals from low-income communities with a high-quality education, enabling them to maximize their potential and transform their lives completely. We work in the field of education by collecting funds from influential and financially well-aided people and provide supplemental education to the needy. We are also actively engaged in the areas of rural and urban development and women empowerment through advocacy, direct program interventions and capacity building of the community to access the benefits of the state programs. Because of the problems of poverty, illiteracy, lack of clean water, high death rate, and the increased number of orphans liaised in Kyangwali refugee settlement camp it was seen that, if not tackled, these problems could lead to poor human life and poor standards of living in the community. In order to solve the above problems, it was a need to form an organization that would unite people on a common mission and vision. On January 1st, 2018 Eric Ndugutse, came up with the idea of creating an organization and the named it to unite for prosperity in Africa inc Community Organization" to help poor children, vulnerable and orphans are the most affected by these problems. it was after that the very team drafted the organization's mission, vision, objectives, motto, and logo. Our Mission: To improve the standards of living to orphans, poor children, vulnerable and transform the community with education and health. Our Objectives: To promote self-reliance among the orphans and other community projects through the creation of income-generating. To revive hope among the orphans and all the survivors through raising local awareness and enlightenment, career guidance, and stress management. To shape both the orphans and community into responsible people.
