About Valley Apparel

Valley Apparel LLC is the continuation of an uninterrupted manufacturing tradition of excellence started in 1959. We are a small business concern with a manufacturing facility in Knoxville, Tennessee. Valley Apparel was founded upon the strong leadership skills of John Niethammer, who had almost 60 years of experience when he passed in September 2020. Our heritage is deeply rooted in serving the US Military. This manufacturing heritage started soon after the Korean conflict, continued through Vietnam, in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, and in today’s many conflicts. Through this time, we have manufactured and delivered millions of apparel items to all branches of the Armed Forces. In its 20+ year existence, Valley Apparel has manufactured over 3 million garments for the DOD. Our emphasis is on seam-sealed and fire-resistant items, but we have made many types of outerwear, hoods, liners, and accessories. Valley Apparel LLC. Is one of the USA’s premier suppliers of Outerwear to not only the USA Military but to Militaries all over the world. Valley Apparel is also one of the largest domestic USA suppliers of Outerwear to foreign Militaries friendly and approved by the US government for export.
