LimeLeads Pricing 2026: What Each Plan Actually Costs

LimeLeads pricing runs $99 to $400 a month for a US-focused B2B database with 20M+ contacts and almost no public reviews - one on G2, one on Capterra. Whether that's a bargain or a waste depends entirely on your use case.

Plans and Per-Credit Costs

LimeLeads runs three subscription tiers with monthly billing and a 35% discount for annual commitments. One credit equals one unlocked contact.

Unlike Apollo, where credits expire each billing cycle, LimeLeads rolls unused credits forward - a genuine advantage for teams with uneven prospecting volume. The product is marketed as a shared team account with no extra per-user fees, though the plans still cap seats (1 on Pro, 2 on Business, 5 on Enterprise) with options for add-ons on higher tiers.

Plan Monthly Price Credits Cost/Credit Annual (35% off)
Pro $99/mo 500 $0.198 ~$64/mo
Business $150/mo 1,500 $0.10 ~$98/mo
Enterprise $400/mo 5,000 $0.08 ~$260/mo

The per-credit math tells the real story. At $0.198 per contact on Pro, you're paying nearly double what Business charges. If you're pulling more than a few hundred contacts a month, Pro is a bad deal.

Business hits the sweet spot for small teams - 1,500 credits at $0.10 each, with better overage rates too. Pro overages cost $0.10/credit, Business drops to $0.06, and Enterprise goes down to $0.03.

Hidden Costs to Factor In

The sticker price doesn't tell you everything.

  • US-focused database. LimeLeads is built around verified US-based B2B contacts. If you sell into EMEA, APAC, or LatAm, this tool won't cut it.
  • Spreadsheet exports only. CSV and Excel are your options. If you want a "push to CRM and go" workflow, you'll spend more time on manual imports than you'd like.
  • No free trial in most listings. Capterra and Cloudfindr both list free trial as unavailable, even though some directories claim one exists. We couldn't confirm either way.
  • Third-party email verification. LimeLeads is commonly associated with NeverBounce-style live verification on export. That works fine, but it's a dependency on external infrastructure rather than a proprietary verification stack.
Prospeo

LimeLeads charges $0.10-$0.20 per contact for a 20M-record, US-only database with CSV exports. Prospeo gives you 300M+ global profiles at ~$0.01/email, 98% verified accuracy, and native CRM integrations - no spreadsheet imports required.

Should You Trust LimeLeads?

Here's the thing - LimeLeads has almost no public track record to evaluate.

Their G2 profile shows a single review and displays an "Inactive Profile" notice, meaning nobody has managed it for over a year. Capterra also has just one review, from a CEO who switched from ZoomInfo Community Edition and said LimeLeads' lead quality was comparable to "sources that are 4-5x as expensive." That's encouraging, but one review isn't a pattern. The tool barely registers in sales communities either - a search turns up almost nothing, which itself says something about adoption.

More concerning is the 2020 data breach. Security researcher Bob Diachenko discovered that 49 million LimeLeads business-contact records were exposed via an unsecured Elasticsearch server with no password, indexed by Shodan) since at least July 2019. The exposed data included full names, titles, emails, phone numbers, and company details. LimeLeads secured the server within a day of being notified but didn't return a request for comment.

That was years ago, and companies can improve. But combined with the near-total absence of reviews, it's a trust gap that's hard to ignore.

LimeLeads vs. Better Alternatives

This is where the pricing falls apart for most teams: you're paying a meaningful per-contact rate for a US-only dataset with limited proof points.

Per-contact cost comparison LimeLeads vs Prospeo vs Apollo vs ZoomInfo
Per-contact cost comparison LimeLeads vs Prospeo vs Apollo vs ZoomInfo
Tool Starting Price Credits/Contacts Database Size Global Coverage Contract
LimeLeads $99/mo 500 20M+ US-focused No
Prospeo Free (75 emails) 75-10,000+/mo 300M+ Yes No
Apollo Free / $49/mo Varies by plan 275M+ Yes No
ZoomInfo ~$15k/yr Bulk credits 200M+ Yes Annual

The per-contact cost gap is where LimeLeads loses the argument entirely:

Tool Effective Cost/Contact
LimeLeads Pro $0.198
LimeLeads Business $0.10
LimeLeads Enterprise $0.08
Prospeo ~$0.01
Apollo Basic ~$0.04
ZoomInfo ~$1.00

Let's be direct: if your deal sizes are under $15k and you're only selling into the US, LimeLeads' Business plan is fine. But the moment you need global coverage or a database that's around 15x larger, paying 10-20x more per contact for a US-only dataset doesn't add up.

Prospeo is the strongest alternative for teams that need accuracy without the budget hit. Its 300M+ profiles come with 98% verified email accuracy, 125M+ verified mobile numbers, and a 7-day data refresh cycle compared to the industry-standard 4-6 weeks. It also integrates natively with Salesforce, HubSpot, Smartlead, Instantly, and Lemlist, so you skip the CSV-import dance entirely. The free tier - 75 emails/month, no credit card - lets you test before committing.

Apollo is the go-to for teams that want a prospecting platform with built-in sequences. The free tier is generous, and paid plans start at $49/user/month. ZoomInfo remains the enterprise default, but at $15k-$45k+/year, it's a different budget conversation entirely. For a broader look at how these platforms stack up, B2B database category is worth browsing.

Who Should Actually Use LimeLeads?

Skip LimeLeads if you need global data, CRM-native workflows, or a tool with a verifiable track record of customer results. We've tested enough B2B databases to know that thin review profiles usually mean thin support when something breaks.

LimeLeads fits a narrow use case: small teams prospecting primarily into US businesses who want a simple, no-contract database at a budget price point and don't mind CSV exports. For everyone else - anyone needing international coverage, automation-friendly workflows, or verifiable social proof - there are better options at every price tier.

Prospeo

Before you commit to a LimeLeads plan, run a side-by-side test. Prospeo's free tier gives you 75 verified emails - no credit card, no contract. Compare accuracy, coverage, and deliverability against any list you're currently pulling.
